Joni opened at Le Hibou shortly after the recording sessions for
Song To A Seagull were completed. During this engagement Joni
was introduced to Graham Nash who was on tour with the Hollies
and had already heard about Joni from his friend David Crosby.

Jimi Hendrix attended the late show after playing a concert
at the Capitol Theatre and, with Joni's permission, recorded
her performance. (Unfortunately, both Jimi's recorder and the
tapes were stolen several days later.)

after the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The concert was Broadcast on WXPN-FM.

A group of musicians paid tribute to Martin Luther King by
having a folk, rock and blues jam session. Joni played first
followed by Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix. Other musicians
who participated were BB King, Al Kooper and Ted Nugent.
