the first such award she's been given in Canada. The presentation
at the school's fall convocation followed a day-long academic
symposium in her honour.

by Gov. Gen. Adrienne Clarkson. Established on July 1, 1967
to commemorate the country’s 100th birthday, the Order Of Canada
is the country'’s highest honour and recognizes outstanding
achievement and service in various fields of human endeavour.
