The tuning is my attempt to make my 6-string guitar sound
like a 12-string. I think Joni uses a 12-string for the
song and the high octave of the third string can be heard
in the recording. This high note can be achieved by tuning
as above with the top string tuned to E (its normal standard
tuning position) and putting the capo on the 1st fret.
