I saw this concert at Kiel Auditorium. I remember it as a good show, Joni Mitchell with backing band the L.A. Express performing many songs from "The Hissing of Summer Lawns" and "Court and Spark". As the review notes, the audience was polite and quiet between songs. I don't remember Joni talking to the audience much, just performing the songs with basically straightforward renditions that were faithful to the album versions. I suppose if I could have asked for one thing, it would have been for her to come out and perform some songs solo on guitar and piano, perhaps numbers from "Blue" like "River". That would have been nice. But all in all, I got my moneys worth from the show.
