This painting was used on the inside sleeve of the album WILD THINGS RUN FAST and is a double portrait of Joni and Larry Klein.

Joni's comments from the 1988 eclection art exhibition catalog: This began from a black and white photo we had taken by a machine. We were separated by distance. I was in New York and Larry was in L.A. In the background behind lace is a church and part of a delicatessen sign I saw down in Soho, near where I lived.
