Warren Keith welcomed in the New Year on New Year's Day, 2003 with a Joni reference: Imagine my surprise when Joni was mentioned as I watched HGTV's coverage of the Rose Parade on New Years Day. In describing the floats one of the three anchors said that the designer of the float, Judy Mitchell, was also a passenger on the float. Another of the anchors promptly interrupted and said you must be thinking of Joni Mitchell, Judy Miller is the designer and passenger on the float. I guess next year they will probably have a float with a BYT theme and have Joni on board with her guitar singing the song over and over again...
