I thought I'd mention the film The Brothers Bloom. The evil villain in this film (played by Maximillion Schell) is named "Diamond Dog". When he enters for the first time you just hear some clanking behind Bloom (played by Adrien Brody) who, without looking around says "diamond dog, carrying a cup and a cane".
