The photograph is of Joni and her art director Anthony Hudson who was in charge of the songbooks up to 1974. According to Douglas Pike, this painting was used to illustrate the song 'Burn Down The Mission' in the book Bernie Taupin: The One Who Writes The Words For Elton John. It only appeared in B&W in the book, however.
