In 2003, a new art curator for Cedars Sinia discovered this work rolled up in a tube in a closet. It's unknown how it came into their possession and why it was tucked in a closet. It's since been framed and is currently being displayed at the center.
On October 28, 1985, Geffen Records held a Dog Eat Dog release party. Billed as "Joni Mitchell- - New Paintings New Songs", the gathering was a benefit for the Museum of Contemporary Art. During a short media video of the party, one can see different 'workups' of the Dog Eat Dog cover. This work likely resulted from this same set, but it's unclear how it ended up in a medical center's closet!
Mixed media on photographic paper- includes Joni's handwritten lyrics (Three Great Stimulants) on napkin, nail, tape, etc.
