Roberta Joan Mitchell, professionally known as Joni Mitchell, is one of Canada’s most iconic and influential singer-songwriters. Drawing from folk, pop, rock and jazz, Mitchell’s songwriting has touched on social and environmental ideals and often delved deeply into personal confessions of romance, confusion, disillusionment and joy. She has received innumerable accolades, notable among them being an impressive collection of no less than ten Grammy Awards. AllMusic has stated that “When the dust settles, Joni Mitchell may stand as the most important and influential female recording artist of the late 20th century.”

Coming to Hugh’s Room Live is an intimate Tribute to Joni Mitchell by some of the finest musicians from within the city and beyond. Each performer on the ticket will take turns on stage offering their own stirring interpretations of Joni Mitchell recordings from across her career.
