JONI MITCHELL'S European tour is being lined up for May and she will be playing concerts in London and Glasgow, probably at the end of May.

Three shows at London's Hammersmith Odeon and one at the Glasgow Apollo have been tentatively arranged to follow concerts in Europe.

But the British dates cannot be confirmed until the other European concerts, which are still being negotiated, have been finalized.

Her latest album, THE HISSING OF SUMMER LAWNS, which sold out following a limited pressing before Christmas (reported in High Society three weeks ago), is now widely available and has shot up to number 15 in this week's album charts.
