Jerry Jeff Walker, singer — composer of the hit song Mr. Bojangles, will replace Joni Mitchell as headliner at the Sunday evening concert of Carleton University's Homecoming '68.

Walker, whose style resembles that of 'Gordon Lightfoot, will star in the show that will also feature the folk-rock group 3's a Crowd. Miss Mitchell was forced off the program by illness.

The Sunday evening concert ends the four days of events that welcome back Carleton alumni.

Homecoming activities begin with an animal dance in the Lansdowne Park Coliseum Thursday at 8.30 p.m. Featured ensembles are The Yeomen and the Marshmallow Soup Group.
