Joni Mitchell to Take "Both Sides Now" on the Road Print-ready version

Mitchell to support new standards album with orchestra tour

Jazz-folk-pop queen Joni Mitchell is set to take her new album, Both Sides Now, on the road with a twelve-date, eleven-city tour beginning May 12 at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles. Each stop on the tour, which includes a two-night stand at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York and may be extended to include more dates, will feature Mitchell performing with a local symphony orchestra. Fans can expect a heavy dose of material from the mostly covers collection Both Sides Now, which features Mitchell's interpretations of such jazz and pop standards as "At Last" and "Stormy Weather."

The current dates for Mitchell's Both Sides Now tour are as follows:

5/13: Concord, Calif., Concord Pavilion
5/17: West Palm Beach, Fla., Mars Music Amphitheater
5/19: Atlanta, Ga., Chastain Park Amphitheater
5/22-23: New York, N.Y., Theater at Madison Square Garden
5/25: Columbia, Md., Merriweather Post Pavilion
5/27: Wallingford, Conn., SNET Oakdale Theater
5/28: Boston, Mass., FleetBoston Pavillion
5/30: Rosemont, Ill., Rosemont Theater
5/31: Clarkston, Mich., Pine Knob Music Theater
6/2: Philadelphia, Pa., E-Center
