WHAT: On Wednesday, July 23, 2014 Beat Hôtel, located in Cambridge’s Harvard Square presents a tribute to singer/ songwriter Joni Mitchell with an evening of live performance featuring some of the artist’s most iconic work with cutting-edge modern musical artists. Taking the stage that night will be Raquel Alexa of Amethyst Band and several guest artists from Boston to NYC. A Berklee college senior, Alexia’s young talent is shaped by her bright, smooth tone and her innovative and emotional delivery of tunes ranging in style, from jazz to bolero, from soul to pop.
