Author Dan Levitin wrote to let us know that he has a new book out entitled "This Is Your Brain On Music: The Science of a Human Obsession" (Dutton, 2006). The book features an extensive discussion of Joni's tunings and her interaction with Jaco Pastorius. Joni's even read the sections that deal with her and she has approved!
