The first of a series of concerts at this year’s festival recreating and celebrating the music of great songwriters of recent years – first up is Joni Mitchell. With world-class backing from pianist/guitarist Chris Ingham and Andrés Lafone (bass/guitar), the wonderfully engaging Joanna Eden lovingly recreates Joni’s masterpieces taking the audience on a journey through the myriad of ideas, textures, themes, voices and emotions of Mitchell’s remarkable canon.
