Carol Lipnik and Rachelle Garniez, acclaimed songwriter-vocalists and Pangea resident fixtures, join forces in an homage to one of their most treasured inspirations, the great Joni Mitchell.

StorySound Records presents the single “Songs to Aging Children Come”, a harmonically exotic meditation on conscious listening, produced by Dick Connette.

Accompanying the single is a gorgeous video shot by Albie Mitchell and edited by Amanda Homi, which will be screened at the performance. Each known for their singularly expressive blends of beauty and humor, Lipnik and Garniez meet at the crossroads of the surreal and the psychedelic, bringing the eternally relevant message of the song into the present moment. The evening will feature more gems by Joni Mitchell as well as original compositions, and works by other women songwriters and poets from Aretha Franklin to Edna St. Vincent Millay.
