Singers Jo Lawry, Kate McGarry and Luciana Souza join a top-notch rhythm section for a performance of Joni Mitchell’s Mingus, her 1979 recording with the legendary bassist Charles Mingus. Triple GRAMMY-winning drummer Terri Lyne Carrington and musicians perform Money Jungle: Provocative in Blue, Carrington’s exciting take on Mingus’ 1962 classic collaboration with Duke Ellington and Max Roach.
