Tribute To Joni w/Dawna Hammers, Falmouth MA, May 31

Dawna Hammers will sing the songs of Joni Mitchell on Thursday, May 31, at 7 PM at West Falmouth Library.

Ms. Hammers is a professional songwriter, recording artist, entertainer, and music teacher with more than 25 years of experience performing and teaching throughout New England. With a voice described as earthy and ethereal, she has been compared to Carole King, Sarah McLachlan and Norah Jones. She has produced and recorded six CDs. She plays mainly ballads and the blues, but Ms. Hammers is also versatile in folk, soft rock, classic rock, world beat and children’s music.

In addition to the tribute to Joni Mitchell, Hammers will perform original songs on the library’s grand piano. The concert is free. Donations are appreciated. The library is at 575 West Falmouth Highway.
