1966.06    The Gaslight Café  New York, NY

Chuck and Joni Mitchell made their first NYC appearance,
during this two-week engagement. According to Joni,
"Joan Baez came down to the Gaslight and said that she
liked my songs and everything ... and she thought I sounded
like Buffy Sainte-Marie!" Dave Fisher and Gil Robbins,
of The Highwaymen, also appeared.
