I remember this concert so well. There was a problem with the PA system used for the show and ultimately Joni sang most of the show without any amplification. She sang many of the songs which would become her "Ladies of the Canyon" album and she was just magnificent. I had never seen her before but had been a fan since first hearing the "Song to A Seagull" album...she did not disappoint. There were no seats for the concert, we all just kind of sat on the floor and enjoyed the fine music, we were maybe 25 feet from her piano and it was one of the best shows I have ever been to in my life. After the concert we drove to Cape Cod listening to her music all the way there. Thank you Joni.
