One of Joni's best early songs, celebrating the simple pleasures of life in a pastoral setting. Some have said it's about "domestic bliss" and that the title is an acronym for the phrase: "Somehow, in spite of trouble, ours will be everlasting love." If so, to whom is she referring? And who are they waiting for with the candle in the window? Too bad the quality is so lacking in this video but it still communicates the feeling behind the beautiful words.
