40 years ago...I attended the concert 13 days before having my first child. A memory that comes back around every year just before his birthday. Magical concert, heart memory!

...and 9 years later, 3000 miles further and another sister - Wild Things Run Fast - so appropriate for us during this time. We had great seats, the weather was perfect, "oh California".it was a concert of great beauty in all ways and very high energy...a blast....I have clear snapshots in my mind. Thank you Joni, you've inspired me through the years in more ways than you will know. I won - I don't have a "name on the door on the 33rd floor in the air". xo

The Santa Barbara County Bowl is a great outdoor venue. This was the second time I saw a performance by Joni and I thought it was absolutely outstanding. One thing that completely stands out (still) in my mind from that show is that Joni's band played an incredible version of Banquet that I was blown away by and would love to hear again! It was a metal version and it rocked big time. Does a recording exist somewhere of that version of the song?
