My future wife and I saw Joni "under the tent". I wanted to be sure that any chance of rain would not spoil the evening of great music. We slowly strolled in to the sounds of the "warm-up" band, that Joni was touring with. They accompanied her on "Shadows and Light". The festival did not allow cameras, so I hid my 35mm in my socks, and a piece in her purse. I assembled the camera, and took some non-flash pix. I still have them. I remember that Joni forgot the words to "Amelia" in the middle of the song. Laughing, she said it had been "a long time" since she had sung it concert. She recovered. So did I.
