Talented Joni Mitchell graced the cover of a recent issue of Time magazine. Time has an excellent research department, and usually when they do a cover story they delve deeply into the subject's life. But if my information is correct, there is an important fact about Joni that was not printed in Time. Someone who knew her and her then husband, Chuck Mitchell, back in their Wayne State University and Toronto coffee house days, said the Mitchells had a baby. Nowhere in the Time story is the baby mentioned. In fact, I have never read anywhere that Joni Mitchell ever had a child. My informant vows that her information is correct. May we hear from Miss Mitchell, please.
