In the winter of 1981 [ed note: actually July 11, 1983], Joni Mitchell joined CBC's Peter Gzowski for a feature interview on the program Sunday Morning. Together on the 28th floor of Toronto's Four Seasons hotel, the folk singer took a retrospective wonder through her musical beginnings in the neighbourhood below, Yorkville, which was once a musical magnet for Canadian musicians of the 1960s.
The interview, pulled from CBC's Digital Archives, recalls days gone by and how both the neighbourhood and Mitchell herself had both become more "sophisticated" and "more uptown" over the years.
