Joni Mitchell’s Laurel Canyon Furniture For Sale

Would you like to own Joni Mitchell's music stand? As you might hope, it's covered in splattered paint.

The Estate Sale Company Los Angeles is selling three stories of furniture and other items from the estate of Joni Mitchell this weekend only, February 3rd to 5th, from 9 am to 4 pm, in Hollywood. No prices are listed and purchases must be made on-site.

Items include high-end designer custom pieces such as antique chairs, lamps, beds, rugs, artwork and more. There is also a large collection of VHS tapes, 8 MM film, DVDs, books and games. Some of the items come from her historic Laurel Canyon home from the '60s and '70s where some of her most well-known songs were composed.

What's not known at this time is why Joni is divesting herself of these possessions, and whether there is any connection to the unfortunate passing of her father last month at the age of 100.
