NEEDLING IT: Music Notes from Judy

Grammy Award winning composer/singer Joni Mitchell (Both Sides Now) has flown the coop again. This time she's hiding out in Greece (some say with Leonard Cohen, her Canadian compatriot and composer of Suzanne) until she writes some more songs that please her. Joni's disappearing act started late last year when she up 'n canceled all her concerts supposedly because she "needed more time to write in peace." However most say Joni's "urge for going" came on when trouble started between her and boyfriend Graham Nash (of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young fame). By the way, if you like the way Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young sing Woodstock, listen to the way Joni (who wrote it) sings it. What an experience!

Some Albums you might not hear but I wish you would: 12 SONGS (Randy Newman), LADIES OF THE CANYON (Joni Mitchell).
