The Joni Mitchell concert scheduled for 7:30 tonight at the Springfield Civic Center has been canceled.
Low ticket sales was the main reason for the cancellation, a Civic Center spokesman said. Two thousand tickets had been sold in advance for the 10,000-seat arena.
There were no Connecticut concerts booked for Mitchell's summer tour. Her concert at the Boston Common on Wednesday is still scheduled. Ticket sales have been reported to be very strong for the show.
Money will be refunded at places where the tickets for the Springfield concert were bought, the spokesman said.
