McCartney, Blumenkrantz, Asher and More to Sing Joni Mitchell at the Duplex

A host of theatre and cabaret performers will take part in two upcoming evenings at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre devoted to the work of composer Joni Mitchell.

Presented by The Storefront, Tales of Joni: The Storefront Sings Mitchell will be offered April 23 and 30 at 7 PM at the downtown cabaret. Those scheduled to lend their talents to the concerts include Todd Almond, Lisa Asher, Bobby Belfry, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Pamela Bob, Jarrod Cafaro, Nick Cearley, Brandon Cutrell, Sarajean Devenport, Baby Jane Dexter, Tim DiPasqua, Suzanne Fiore, Michael Holland, Karen Mack, Liz McCartney, Brian Nash, Kate Pazakis, Ricky Ritzel, Gabrielle Stravelli and Rachel Ulanet.

Tales of Joni is being produced by Phil Geoffrey Bond, who will also direct. Musical director is Ray Fellman.

Joni Mitchell's numerous songs include "Both Sides Now," "Eastern Rain," "A Case of You," "The Circle Game," "Big Yellow Taxi," "All I Want," "River" and "Chelsea Morning."

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located in Manhattan at 61 Christopher Street. There is a $12 cover charge and a $10 minimum; call (212) 255-5438 for reservations.
