Peter Allen hung out at Drake's Restaurant on Yorkville while in town appearing at the Royal York Hotel's Imperial Room. An old pal of the restaurant's co-owner, pianist Paul Drake, Allen did some impromptu sets and partied there one night until dawn. Joni Mitchell popped in for a few hours two nights ago, but she declined Drake's invitation to join him at the piano.
