GIBB/BARRINGTON - Kilauren and Ted are overjoyed to announce the birth of their daughter, Daisy Joan, born on Friday, June 18th, 1999, at Toronto General Hospital, at 5:18 p.m., weighing in at a healthy 8 pounds, and measuring 21 inches long. A new baby sister for Marlin. Granddaughter to Tom and Pat Barrington, David and Ida Gibb, Brad MacMath and Joni Mitchell. Great-granddaughter to Bill and Myrtle Anderson.
PONIKVAR/WENTGES - Anthony Michael and Gabriella Marie Ponikvar are thrilled to announce the arrival of their 1st child, Willem George (Stanley) Ponikvar, 6 pounds, 5 ounces, on Friday, June 18 @ 3:33 a.m. Willem is the 1st grandchild of Kees and Francis Wentges (Opa & Oma) of Lake Joseph. The 3rd grandson of Jerry and Lillian Ponikvar, (Baka & Dedo) of Burlington. Our beautiful baby was delivered by the staff at Riverdale Community Midwives. A special thanks for the natural and loving birth to Audry ten Westeneind, and Linda Moscovitch our friends and midwives (Stanley) will be added to the official name when the Sabres bring home the cup next Tuesday! LAIDLAW - Constance, George and big sister Emily are happy to announce that Georgia Lian has joined their family in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China on May 25, 1999. Georgia was born on June 3, 1998. Proud grandparents are Mrs. George K. Laidlaw if Islington, and Dr. and Mrs. D.G. Crosby of Ottawa. Aunts, Susan Wilkins, Nancy McCrae and Sara Laidlaw, uncles William Laidlaw, Tony Wilkins and Dennis McCrae together with cousins Kate, Elizabeth, Kimberley, Stacey, Christopher, Madeline, Megan, Erin and Jack welcome Georgia.
