Singer Joni Mitchell Purchases Neil Simon's Apartment Building Print-ready version

A three story, 89-unit apartment building owned by playwright Neil Simon was sold to singer Joni Mitchell for a reported 1.16 million. Robert L. Dru of the H. Bruce Hanes Co., Beverly Hills, represented both parties in the transaction involving the building at 333 S. St. Andrews Place.

Dru was the top producing broker last year at the apartment brokerage firm, which was just purchased an {sic} office building at 15020 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks.

The new building, purchased from Ventura Partnership for $260,000, will house the firm's San Fernando Valley regional office. The staff will consist of Robert Likes, Caroljean Willis, Barry Cohen, Joe Modica, Dan Faller, Kim Huntley, Ray Uchima, and Sandy Thier.
