What's folk singer Joni Mitchell up to? Any shows? I heard she was ill. Did
she move to Colorado?

Mitchell, who turned 50 this month, and producer husband Larry Klein are
working on an album. There's talk of a spring release and, yes, a tour. They live in L.A. where they've been all 11 years of their marriage. Mitchell has been battling with cigarettes (at four packs a day, they're as much a part of her image as they once were Bette Davis'), which led to unsubstantiated rumors of throat cancer after she backed out of a show in Spain. So, has she quit smoking? She goes back and forth, her publicist says.
